Is there anything that God actually likes?

Make sure you see this before they rip it off, folks (it's already gone from Youtube and very difficult to find on Google Video):

There's a lot of speculation about whether or not this is a joke. Well, you know how when you're watching a parody video there's that hint of irony somewhere in the back of your consciousness? Yeah, that doesn't happen here. In fact, lead singer of Evening Service, Donnie Davies has a whole li'l page explaining that he is a "Reformed Homosexual." Isn't that a lot like saying you're a "Reformed Redhead?" It doesn't make sense.

Well, as a reformed redhead myself, I can tell you that it's not even in the same BALLPARK, buddy.

Yeah. No irony whatsoever. Scary.

I KNOW! It's horrifically catchy.

I vote irony. Although I thought David Gray's whole career was just an elaborate inside joke, so I may not have the best judgement.

My friend actually emailed that to me a few days ago..it's becoming the new internet racist craze, kinda like that "Fry that Chicken" song that came out a while ago. It kinda reminds me of that whacko Johnny Rebel guy. Although it's bad when you start singing "In Coontown" in class, and you realize you go to a state school where most of the population is of the African American persuation.

I just found this on youtube. It's amazing! And the irony here is definitely unintentional. "I can't help being fat, I was born this way." Priceless.

Plus, you can tell he wants to be gay again oh so badly.

(0:45) "Thank you so much, Andrew Sullivan, for getting behind me..."

See, now, watching that makes me think the whole thing is just a very elaborate joke.

If it is a joke, I'll be very disappointed. Nobody has the balls anymore to just outright hate people. What happened to all the really good bigots?
